About Pet Simulator X: Everything else in this DLC rates a giant “meh” from me, and I’m very much a House Flipper fan. While careful thought has been given to the animals and the furnishings, less thought has been given as to how these elements interact with the game itself. It’s cute that you can take a dog with you on jobs. It is less cute that the dog’s hit box is enormous and you will be constantly, constantly trying to get him out of the way so you can actually do the thing you’re playing the game to do....

About Pirate’s Dream: If this game was released in 1989 it would end up on some ‘game of the year’ lists, but a lot of things have changed since then. I really like some things about this game. The music is great. The nostalgic look is perfect and is clearly a labor of love. And I adore that the description of the product brags about the flexibility of the controls. I wish more games would target all control configurations, and not just one type of joystick or strictly mouse and keyboard....

About Prison Life: Narrative-driven adventure games do not come much better than Life is Strange: True Colors. The game features a remarkable protagonist with an empathy power that enhances storytelling via clever interactions. Side characters are fantastic due to their personalities and frequent humor. There are plenty of fun moments, including a colorful LARP segment that is probably the high point due to its timing and implementation. Sadly the ending is a bit rushed and the conspiracy angle is a wash, but neither is a huge detraction from what is a joy to experience the first time through....

About Soul War: I really enjoy this game. The art, mechanics, and story are all quite interesting. I wish there was more documentation as to how specific mechanics actually worked, but overall it is a quite enjoyable experience… That’s what my review would have been once I finished the game. However, about a month ago, my game started randomly crashing after a few minutes of fighting. I’d restart the game, redo the quest, and at some point the game would crash again....

About Southwest Florida Beta: Excellent route and a boon that you can use several free roam scenarios. Hopefully at some point in the future someone will take the initiative to merge this route with the Just Trains Highbridge & Burnham to Plymouth route and also link from Reading to Paddington and down via Didcott on to Swindon and link up at Chippenham. What is also frustrating is that although very detailed scenery has been completed on the branch from Castle Cary to Yeovil, the line abruptly ends in a field approximately a mile from Yeovil Penn Mill....

About Starving Artists: Deer Developers. Please add this for the second game: I’d so deeply wish that you could mix your own shades from just the 3 primary colors and black and white. Also i’d wish there was more techniques he could learn, so that the pencil not looks like something from Microsoft Paint, with a full dot being dragged around, but instead actual pencil strokes. Stuff like splashing with paint and putting on/off painting-tape for making sharp edges....

About Strucid: This review is somehow difficult for me because I both love and hate NEON STRUCT. I’m going to explain why but let me first say that this is a very good game and if you like stealth games, the real ones, you should try this one. If you want a comparison with other games, NEON STRUCT is basically Thief (1, 2 and DS) in a modern world. I’ve read a lot of people comaring it to Deus Ex and System Shock but the game differs a lot from them and I can’t really understand what those reviewers played....
