About Monster Ghoul: It’s a great shame that I have to give this game a not recommended review, because my feelings are more mixed than that. In general if you are a Monster Hunter fan and just want more content, you may well enjoy Rise at least for long enough to get your money’s worth, like I did. About Naval Warfare: I picked the game up for a song, and for quite a while it seemed rather enjoyable. Simple, pretty easy, a relatively short but fun experience. Perhaps I was just lucky. Perhaps there’s other ridiculous bugs and glitches throughout the game that through sheer dumb luck I avoided. Then I got to the final boss. The big climax for the game. And I got stuck. I couldn’t figure out why....

About NO STOP Obby: The unskippable dialogue gets old quickly, especially when it encourages you to be a completionist by prominently showing outlines of the trophies you don’t have yet. You’re expected to play through each level multiple times, and you’ll spend most of your time just waiting for the game to let you proceed. The idea was cool, but in practice I think it would’ve been much more enjoyable as a straight puzzle game without the angry/condescending narrator....
About Pet Simulator X: This is probably one of the highest quality steam locomotives I’ve seen come from Dovetail. The textures are extremely good. Inside and out everything looks great! The smoke is very nice as well – it changes shades of grey and white correctly and smoothly when there are changes to the firebox/boiler. The only oddity I ran into was when looking at the passenger view, it actually placed you outside a window....
About Phantom Forces: For an early access game – highly recommend. This game is fantastic in what it does, and it scratches an itch for me that hasn’t been scratched in a long time. It’s temple run meets dungeon crawler. Each level, you search for treasure as the traps and bosses get progressively harder. Each run leaves you pumping with adrenaline, and I can’t tell you how many time I’ve held my breath on those really close moments....
About Pistol 1v1: This game has unbelievable value and content! The whole concept of dodging bullets and shooting enemies in time to music is fun enough as is, but the developers of Cloudhead have really outdone themselves with what they have made this game what it is today. Ever since release the devs have been pumping out loads of free updates and pretty much tripled the amount of scenes to dive into....
About Rate My Avatar: I had been wanting to make my own little mascot animations for my twitch overlays, and so I got aseprite and was learning how but just when I needed it, someone told me about stream avatars and that has been a GAME CHANGER, not only do I get to have animations walk across my screen how I wanted, but it’s controlled by my audience!! About Reroll.Gg: REROLL is a remake of the the Playstation 2 game and quite nostalgic, built to be identical to the original Katamari Damacy with cleaner visuals. The game starts you on tutorial island, an empty area where you learn how to control your Katamari ball. This could be extremely frustrating to a new player since the controls are also a 1:1 of the original. Meaning that a controller is highly recommended....

About RoCitizens: The game has fun and cheeky ambiance but it was so grindy that I would have to be paid to finish it. What is the point of having ~40 recruitable characters, if you have to level every one of them separately? So you either have to use only a couple of them at all times, or spend hours on hours grinding just to bump up their levels. Some other games I have played solve this by auto-leveling the inactive characters along with the active ones....
About Shinobi Life 2: Shinobi’s Way is an excellent jigsaw puzzle created within the universe of “Chess Knights: Shinobi”. The game brings some interesting and unusual features in jigsaw puzzles of this price range such as feedback when fitting two pieces (even if outside the board) and the piece rotation option, which gives an extra layer of difficulty, but at the same time makes winning more rewarding. The “chess pieces mode” adds replayability to each stage, while increasing the difficulty considerably, at least until you get used to the new piece formats....

Disparaging comments were made about the graphics. We even argued about the merits of buying from Steam or directly from the game creator. About Stand Upright Rebooted: One of the best roguelike games under $15 out there, and this is $1. I went into this expecting maybe 4 hours of gameplay before getting bored, which would still be a deal. but I keep coming back. Also, once everything is unlocked it becomes a great “mindless but still fun as hell” late night game when you’re too tired to play anything but still want to try new strategies....

About The Streets: Awesome game! A very good beat’em up that plays and feels like the good old classic titles. It is a homage to Might Final Fight released on SNES. If you finish the game you unlock 3 new characters and if you finish the game on hard there will be additional 2 new characters, so in total there are 8 to choose from once all are unlocked which is an impressive number for a beat em up title....
About Titan Warfare: Coming at this as someone who didn’t play the first one and only has cursory knowledge of the franchise (watching streamers play Apex), so if you’re in the same boat, you’ll know what to expect. I suppose I’d have to describe Titanfall 2 as “Transformers meets Halo meets Battletech meets Mirror’s Edge”. Good lord, that’s an annoying way to describe it, so I’ll expound. The gameplay here first and foremost a first-person shooter....
